Students will learn the basics of Modern Standard Arabic. This course is designed to be an easy introduction to Arabic for students both young and old.The curriculum emphasizes speaking and listening but reading and writing will also be taught for students aged 4 and above who are already literate in one language.
Students will learn to introduce themselves, exchange culturally appropriate greetings, the names of everyday objects, to construct simple sentences, express their likes and dislikes, ask for directions, basic grammar and more. Students will also learn about the history and the culture of the Arabic speaking world.
